Getting Listed

The Mediator Locator | Family Mediators websites are designed to assist legal practitioners, businesses and the general public locate suitably qualified, conveniently located mediators.

Mediator Locator | Family Mediators effectively showcases mediators’ availability, experience and locations to assist those seeking to retain a mediator make an appropriate selection.

All mediators listed on our two (2) websites must have mediation training, official accreditation or appropriate qualifications to practise as a mediator.

After submitting an online Application Form located on this page, and upon its due acceptance, subscribers’ web pages are created and Tax Invoices issued for payment.

Website listings are automatically renewed on the anniversary of the issue of the first Tax Invoice, unless we are advised by email prior to the renewal date that renewal is not required.

If a subscriber wishes to list a mediation practice under more than one (1) Region (Standard Listing) or two (2) Regions (Premium Listing), an additional charge of $25.00 plus GST p.a. per additional Region is payable.

All mediators have three (3) LISTING OPTIONS from which to choose:

  1. Standard Listing
  2. Premium Listing
  3. Optimum Listing

Standard Listing

Cost: $100.00 plus GST p.a.

Features included in a Standard Listing:

  1. Contact Name, Company or Firm name
  2. Street address
  3. Postal address
  4. DX (if any)
  5. Telephone number
  6. Facsimile number
  7. Email address
  8. Any three (3) nominated areas of law/expertise
  9. Outline of personal experience (ten (10) lines)
  10. One (1) Region listing

Premium Listing

Cost: $200.00 plus GST p.a.

Features included in a Premium Listing:

  1. All of above features of a Standard Listing, plus...
  2. Top of the leader board listing for any particular Region in order of receipt (excluding Optimum Listings)
  3. Mediator's photo or logo in top right hand corner of web page
  4. Subscriber's own website address link
  5. Nominate any number of areas of law or expertise
  6. Outline of qualifications (ten (10) lines)
  7. Outline of personal experience (ten (10) lines)
  8. Memberships, Court panels, official appointments etc
  9. Languages
  10. Two (2) Regional listings

Optimum Listing

Cost: To be negotiated

Features included in an Optimum Listing:

  1. All of the features of a Standard and Premium Listing, plus...
  2. Listing for all Regions within a State or Territory
