Knowledgeable, Experienced, Effective Lucia Hawkshaw is currently practising as a Barrister at the Queensland Bar in areas of law including family law, commercial law, contract law, Wills/Estates law, criminal law, personal injuries, mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) including Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) mediations. Prior to being called to the Bar, Ms Hawkshaw practised as a solicitor in property law, commercial law, litigation, wills and Wills/Estatess, family law, criminal law, and personal injuries including medical negligence. As a solicitor, she also provided legal representation to her clients at mediations. Ms Hawkshaw is an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDRP) registered with the Federal Attorney General's Department, able to issue Section 60I Certificates pursuant to the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). Available to conduct private mediations. Will travel as required to your venue, otherwise mediation conference rooms can be organised as required. Mediation offers an opportunity for parties to tailor a resolution to their dispute to suit their circumstances. Mediation may be a more time efficient and cost effective option than going to court. |
