CREDENTIALS

I have practised as a Barrister at the Victorian Bar for 30 years, specialising in all areas of Family Law including De facto Relationships. In recent years, I have successfully undertaken mediation work referred by solicitors and also directly from parties who prefer to have minimal contact with the legal process. I am increasingly dealing directly with parties who prefer to attempt a settlement at the initial stages of their Family Family Separation. Through mediation I provide an opportunity for parties to avoid litigation for the benefit of their children and themselves and enable them to have direct input and control over any settlement. Not only is this preferable to any court imposed decision but allows parties to avoid the enormous cost of litigation both financially and emotionally.
