Personal Experience
John Levingston has been in the Law since 1981, as a Solicitor (15 years) and a Barrister (8 years). He has represented parties in mediations since the late 1980's and from the early 1990's has been an author and speaker at international conferences on international ADR, including Mediation.
In more recent years he has adopted the role of mediator in many domestic & commercial Mediations, especially in franchising. John has had many years professional experience in international commercial law (including admiralty law) and domestic commercial law and equity. He brings that experience to the mediation process in assisting parties to reach agreement. John also teaches International trade and transport law at the University of Canberra (ACT) and the University of Newcastle (NSW).
